Doggy Tacos Made Easy

Doggy Tacos Made Easy

  1. Saute a lb. of ground beef, turkey, or chicken in a small amount of olive or coconut oil
  2. Mix up a thick SuperGravy pate' in a bowl by using 3 or 4 scoops of any SuperGravy with 2 to 3 oz. water
  3. Set aside a bowl with some Lamb Airy Bites or Lamb Airy Bark
  4. Take a soft taco wrap, and add a generous dollop of the ground meat (make sure it's not too hot from the pan!)  
  5. Add the SuperGravy
  6. Top off your doggy taco with some Airy Bites or Bark to taste, and that's it!

Your dog just might do the Mexican Hat Dance for this healthy and delicious party treat!

(TIP: You can add sliced carrots or broccoli florets to give this delightful treat some healthy and festive color and crunch!)

(Serves 12-15 Doggy guests)

Great for the Holidays and Birthday parties too.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs Ground Turkey
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Bag Organic Spinach
  • 1 can sweet peas (drained)
  • chopped stems of 2 Large Broccoli heads
  • 1/4 cup Chia seed
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cups SuperGravy (any recipe or mix them ALL!

Bake at 325 until desired outcome. (****Set aside 1/4 cup of drippings for the icing)

*CAN'T FORGET THE ICING:

CleanLabel SuperGravy HOWLIN' Hound Cake "ICING"

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Dripping from Hound Cake
  • 1/2-3/4 package of softened cream cheese
  • 1-2 ounces of SuperGravy ARFredo recipe

Mix until creamy and spread carefully over COOLED Hound Cake

*Cake can be frozen, then thawed. We have made this recipe in a DogBone shape, Christmas Wreath (decorate top with dried cranberries), Candy cane, Ghost, Have fun! Shape it according to what the celebration is.

SuperGravy Smoothie

Ingredients: 1 cup plain organic yogurt, 2 heaping tablespoons of SuperGravy (any flavor), 2 tablespoons filtered water

SuperTip: powdered cheese can be added for the Super “finicky”

Fun Facts: For dogs, this can also be frozen before serving. For cats, they prefer it smooth

SuperGravy Soup

Ingredients: 15oz can of Pumpkin or Sweet potatoes, 1/2 Cup SuperGravy®, 8 Cups fresh water

SuperTip: Can be served warm or cold. Can be served alone or over a meal. Recommended serving size: ¼ cup of soup – 1 cup of soup per meal.

Recipe:

  1. Mix all three ingredients in a blender. THAT’S IT!!

Fun Facts: Pumpkin = Good for both diarrhea and constipation, canned pumpkin (not raw, not the sugary, spicy pie filling) is loaded with fiber and beta-carotene. Sweet potatoes are rich in dietary fiber and beta carotene, they are also a rich source for vitamin C, B6 and minerals.

Iced SuperGravy BrothBalls & BrothCubes

This SUPER easy treat is made with any shape or size BPA FREE molds that will fit on a shelf in your freezer. (Ball shaped ice molds available online)

Ingredients: SuperGravy Broth, molds, a freezer, & LOVE!

SuperTip: Recycle a mini or full sized muffin or cupcake clear plastic bakery tray – these make GREAT freezy treat molds because you can reclose the top after filling to prevent freezer spills, and treats pop out very easily

Recipe:

  1. Start with 5 scoops (2 ½ tablespoons) of any SuperGravy recipe:  Paw Jus™ Brown, Barkinara™ Red, Arfredo™ White (or mix your own blend!)
  2. Mix SuperGravy with a quart of warm water in a shakeable container.
  3. Shake vigorously to make a rich broth Note: SuperGravy will not completely dissolve due to the healthy chia seeds and sea kelp.
  4. Pour into your mold immediately after shaking and set on flat area in freezer until solid.
  5. Pop ‘em out, slide one over to your dog, and watch the JOY begin!

Caution: All Variations of SuperGravy Freezies are best enjoyed outdoors! Please don’t write and tell us your favorite carpet or sofa was stained!

Variation 1: SuperGravy Hide-a-Treat Freezies (watch CCP’s dogs Tiva Marie and Bean enjoy Freezie Cubes in this 30 second You Tube video!)

  1. Prepare as above
  2. Add a few small chunks of Lamb Airy Bark, Airy Bites, or SLIDERS® into the mold
  3. That’s it! Freeze ‘em up and watch your dog chomping on the delicious SuperGravy icey to get to the “hidden” treat that they can smell through the ice with their powerful noses!

Variation 2: SuperGravy Hide-a-Treat Freezie Bowls

  1. Prepare as above
  2. Clear some flat space in your freezer to place the bowl
  3. Instead of ice cube trays or molds, pour the SuperGravy Broth about halfway full into a stainless steel or paper bowl- NO GLASS or PLASTIC in case they chew on the edge to get to their treat.
  4. Add a handful of Lamb Airy Bark, Airy Bites, or SLIDERS® into the bowl

Freeze and Serve! Watch your pooch keep busy licking the frozen bowl to get to those treats.

SuperGravy Casserole

Ingredients: 1lb choice chopped meat, 1/2 Cup SuperGravy®, 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil, 1 Cup chopped any green vegetable (kale, green beans, spinach, collard greens)

SuperTip: Try forming mixture into fun shapes – dog bone, heart, turkey

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Combine 4 ingredients in a bowl
  3. Put in a casserole dish or on a baking sheet (high edges to hold juices!)
  4. Bake approx. 45 min to 1 hour (or until desired temp)

Fun Facts: Kale is low in calorie, high in fiber and has zero fat. Green beans are high in fiber content. Green beans are a good source of calcium, silicon, iron, manganese, potassium. Spinach is low in fat and even lower in cholesterol. Collard greens are a very good source of vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and iron. They are also a good source of vitamin E & omega-3 fatty acids.

Frozen Fruity SuperGravy Surprise

Ingredients: Watermelon or other fruit + SuperGravy® any recipe

Recipe:

  1. Cut up Fruit of choice and set aside.
  2. Spread 4-5 scoops of SuperGravy on a baking sheet.
  3. Place fruit on the baking sheet and roll around to thoroughly coat with SuperGravy.
  4. When fruit gets a nice coating of SuperGravy all over, simply place baking sheet in the freezer until the fruit freezes.

Alternative TERRIFIC fruit choices: Apples (NO seeds), Cantaloupe, Banana slices, Blueberries (makes tiny treats!)

Exciting add-ons: Coconut flakes (easy and looks cool!) or peanut butter (messy but fun!)

DON’T USE Cherries, Raisins, Apricots, Grapes or Currants: THESE FRUITS ARE DANGEROUS TO SOME DOGS AND SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN TO THEM
